Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Assist the actuarial staff in extracting, compiling, reviewing, and analyzing data in support of the goals of the Actuarial Department
- Become familiar with company operations, systems, and actuarial methodologies
- Perform appropriate checks within processes to minimize errors and inaccuracies and verify data reconciliations
- Understand how work done by the Actuarial Department impacts company operations and other departments
- Present information to peers and other departments as warranted
Required Education
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or another quantitative-related major
- At least a sophomore standing in college
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completion of at least one actuarial exam
Preferred Skills Include
- Experience working with SAS, SQL, VBA, R, Python, or other coding languages
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to complete project-related tasks and meet deadlines
Work Location
This position is an in-office role located in West Bend or Madison, WI. No remote opportunities for this position are available at this time.
