As the Nutrition Services Manager, you will be a driving force behind clinical excellence across the Village. In this role, you will lead high-impact, enterprise-level initiatives, mentor a dedicated team of dietitians, and shape clinical programs that directly improve the health and lives of our patients. You will contribute strategically to department goals, align nutrition initiatives with broader population health priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally to champion patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Alignment & Goal Setting: Contribute to the creation and implementation of Nutrition Services department goals, aligning department strategy with the Village’s broader population health priorities.
  • Project & Program Management: Lead high-impact clinical programs and assigned projects designed to directly support enterprise goals. Drive project execution with high accountability to ensure the timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Leverage clinical data and reporting dashboards to monitor Nutrition Services program efficacy and drive continuous improvement in key clinical metrics.
  • Training & Resource Development: Develop content and conduct clinical training sessions for Dietitians, Operations, and Clinical Leaders. Regularly update resources and tools for field teammates to support clinical goals and initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other Village departments to ensure nutrition information is current and accurate. Review and revise educational materials and meeting content used Village-wide.
  • Communications & Education: Partner with Team Mercury and corporate communications to draft and distribute Village-level Nutrition Services updates. Promote patient and modality education, encourage resource sharing, and develop content for national dietitian calls.
  • Leadership & Field Support: Provide ongoing support to the Nutrition Services Operations and Clinical Excellence Teams, as well as Divisional Lead Dietitians.
  • Committee Participation & Representation: Serve on the Nutrition Services National Team, maintaining close communication and collaboration with Clinical and Field Leadership. Oversee and participate in workgroups to support strategy and resource enhancements, representing the department at national meetings and calls.
  • General Duties & Compliance: Perform other duties as assigned or required. Know, understand, follow, communicate, and implement teammate guidelines, employment policies, and company procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure/certification in dietetics where applicable.
  • Expert-level dietitian clinical proficiency.
  • Demonstrated experience driving clinical outcomes and metrics at a division level or above.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as DaVita-specific applications and reporting platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
  • Scheduling flexibility and the ability to travel as needed.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills necessary to perform all essential functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition (CSR) designation.
  • Prior experience in a formal dietitian leadership role and structured project management.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 2 to 20 pounds unassisted; perform repetitive sitting and standing, with some stooping, walking, stretching, and reaching. Ability to conduct conversations easily and effectively (talk/hear), make clear presentations, and utilize computers, phones, and peripherals for extended periods.
  • Vision Requirements: Vision adequate to perform essential duties and responsibilities.
  • Work Environment: Level III – Moderate noise (business office environment with computers, printers, light traffic). Routine work involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or other hazardous conditions beyond that of an everyday visitor.

The Salary Range for the role is $85,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year.

 

 

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour

Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
