Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a high-profile regeneration and environmental programme? This is an exciting interim assignment where you will provide leadership for the delivery of a major programme, overseeing Phase 1 completion, shaping Phase 2 development and driving ambitious Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) initiatives. As a Senior Project Manager, you will work across multiple stakeholders, manage complex project governance and play a pivotal role in delivering long-term environmental and community benefits.

Your Role as Senior Project Manager:

• Lead delivery of a high profile regeneration and environmental programme, ensuring successful completion of Phase 1 and progression of Phase 2 proposals
• Drive Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) projects, habitat creation initiatives and wider ecological programmes
• Manage consultants, budgets, risks, governance processes and programme reporting to senior leadership
• Build strong partnerships with organisations including environmental agencies, wildlife organisations, consultants and local stakeholders
• Develop business cases, funding bids and investment proposals to secure future project funding opportunities

Your Previous Experience as Senior Project Manager:

• Proven track record delivering complex regeneration, environmental, infrastructure or place-based projects
• Strong understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), environmental compliance, ecological mitigation and habitat creation
• Experience preparing reports and presenting recommendations to senior leadership and decision-making boards
• Knowledge of planning processes, project approvals, feasibility studies and commissioning specialist consultants
• Previous experience within a local authority environment and delivery of parks, open space or nature-based projects is highly desirable

This Senior Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to make a visible impact on a significant environmental and regeneration programme. You will be joining at a critical stage and will have the autonomy and responsibility to shape project outcomes, influence key stakeholders and ensure delivery against ambitious objectives. If you are a proactive Senior Project Manager who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and can hit the ground running, we would love to hear from you.
