Job Description: Software Engineer (Frontend)

Our client is seeking a product-minded Software Engineer to take complete ownership of the user-facing side of a platform currently being rebuilt from scratch. This is not a routine ticket-taking position; our client is looking for a frontend specialist with strong design instincts and deep product ownership, not just someone who writes working code.
Role Overview
The Software Engineer will spearhead the frontend architecture and implementation for a high-traffic, rapidly evolving platform. Because organic search is a major acquisition channel for the business, this role requires a strong focus on technical SEO, including optimal rendering strategies and flawless Core Web Vitals performance. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be entirely comfortable building and refining user interfaces designed to display NSFW, AI-generated imagery on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire frontend development lifecycle for a platform rebuild from the ground up.
- Translate design concepts into responsive, high-performing, and visually polished user interfaces.
- Implement practical technical SEO best practices, optimizing rendering strategies and page performance to secure high search rankings.
- Leverage advanced AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code) heavily in daily workflows to ship features rapidly while maintaining rigorous code quality and catching inaccuracies.
- Collaborate closely with backend and AI pipeline engineers to seamlessly integrate dynamic user experiences.
Requirements
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript.
- A genuine eye for design, user experience, and product-level thinking.
- Practical knowledge of technical SEO mechanics, including rendering strategies and optimization for Core Web Vitals.
- High AI fluency and practical experience using tools like Claude Code to accelerate development velocity.
- Must be physically based in Cyprus (candidates outside the country cannot be considered).
- Professional comfort building and maintaining UI components that handle NSFW, AI-generated imagery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI generation pipelines, with specific familiarity using ComfyUI.
