Job Description
Overview:
The Sales Representative supports the Sales Manager in delivering a seamless new‑home buying experience within Kissing Tree, a vibrant 55+ master‑planned community in San Marcos.
In this role, the representative greets and engages visitors to build rapport and understand buyer needs, provides consistent follow‑up throughout the sales journey, and assists with prospecting and marketing to generate new interest in the community. The position also manages daily sales office operations by supporting administrative tasks, maintaining signage and model presentation, and updating CRM records to ensure accurate buyer information. Additionally, the representative performs other duties as assigned .
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage with visitors to build relationships and assist the Community Sales Manager to determine visitor needs and preferences.
Provide consistent and timely follow up with visitors and buyers from initial visit through closing and beyond.
Assist the Community Sales Manager with prospecting, marketing, and promoting new business.
Support Community Sales Manager with all administrative aspects of the sales office. This includes but is not limited to answering phones, preparing purchase contracts, taking reservations, coordinating sales office & model maintenance, opening & closing of the sales complex, scheduling appointments, and pre-qualifying potential buyers, signage, exterior maintenance, etc.
Enter and update visitor and buyer information into the Company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily.
Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or industry training considered an asset.
Minimum of one (1) year of new‑home sales experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with builder processes, customer engagement, and community/product positioning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to manage documentation, reporting, and communication efficiently.
Exceptional listening skills and the ability to translate customer needs into tailored solutions, supported by strong creative problem‑solving capabilities.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining urgency, accuracy, and a high level of attention to detail.
Highly organized work style with consistent follow‑through, documentation discipline, and reliability in meeting deadlines and sales process requirements.
