KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Plan-2-Steer process design & improvement
Support the review of current Plan-2-Steer process design or dedicated sub-processes and flag areas for improvement
Implement and operationalize improvement measures in close alignment with the OS&S Plan-2-Steer delivery teams
Support process standardization and alignment across the end-2-end service scope, spanning across Omya's headquarter and Omya's business units
Plan-2-Steer governance and compliance
Support the development and implementation of KPIs to ensure effective process management (steering dimensions: efficiency, compliance, quality)
Apply and maintain process standards, templates, and control matrices
Contribute to the implementation of internal controls in line with Omya's Group ICS guidance and frameworks to mitigate risks and increase the level of compliance in close collaboration with risk management
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Omya's process standards
Maintain the process architecture documentation (e.g., Process Flowcharts, etc.) and support further development of the process architecture in the course of the implementation
Plan-2-Steer performance management and continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with Omya's internal IT department and other relevant stakeholders to support configuration decisions and digital enablers (e.g., automation, process mining)
Support systemic implementation into process design incl. definition of all system specifications
Execute CI backlog measures and ensure regular tracking and maintenance of backlog items
Operational execution
Execute tasks within the OS&S Process Management team in a quality and timely manner to maintain and develop the standard process model
Support group-wide projects/initiatives and adhere to milestones in a quality and timely manner
Implement measures to improve the Plan-2-Steer or respective sub-processes and introduce measures into the OS&S delivery teams
Support efficient handover points between up- and downstream processes, e.g., validated KPI dashboards are provided to steering committees, where required
Handle exceptions and resolve process-related issues promptly
Support the documentation of business requirements and, if required, functional test scripts
Maintain playbooks and training materials and support the development of new training content as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
Experience
Min. 5 years of relevant working experience in a processor function-related position and leadership responsibilities
Knowledge and skills
Proven experience with Plan-2-Steer, Record-2-report process execution or related business field (Finance, Accounting)
Deep knowledge of process modeling, service delivery frameworks & process governance
Strong knowledge of core controlling processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and planning cycles
Expertise in IFRS, internal controls and risk management
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and transformation initiatives
Handson experience with SAP ERP, S/4HANA preferred
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills with a bias to action
Hands-on mentality and able to manage conflicts
Willingness to question the status quo and to dig into details
Strong organizational skills and ability to execute
Creative and critical thinking skills
Other requirements
Excellent command of both oral and written English are required
Good command of both oral and written additional language is beneficial
Willingness to travel up to 20-25%
