Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Business Support II, you will perform comprehensive receptionist responsibilities, manage information requests, and maintain precise administrative operations while upholding department standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
Every day you will answer phones, receive visitors, direct information requests, answer routine operational questions, perform data entry and demographic verification, schedule patients, assist professional staff, retrieve/file medical records, and communicate collection/payment policies as appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail in data entry and record keeping, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
- Provides administrative and customer or vendor services in assigned area. This may include performing business support functions and related administrative tasks to support a program or process
- Corresponds with customers, patients, and vendors using defined formats and procedures, via verbal, electronic, and written communications.
- Maintains records and/or files for assigned area. Ensures appropriate documentation is timely and accurately entered into departmental application.
- As assigned, prepares, collates, and distributes various reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Works independently under general supervision.
- May complete or handle recurring department projects or one-time projects, as directed by supervisor.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Two (2) years of administrative support experience.
