Job Description Summary

In this role, you will lead Gas Power Sourcing in the development & execution of our capacity growth strategy focused on our Flange to Flange (F2F) Products. You will work in collaboration with the Sourcing Commodity Leaders and Global Materials Leaders to identify the gaps between our existing critical supplier capacity and the forecasted demand profile short term to long range forecasting and then to build a strategy and detailed plan to remediate those gaps. This plan may include, but is not limited to, development of new suppliers (Tier 1+), capacity and/or capability expansion of existing suppliers, technical collaboration to improve yield/output, and internal design changes to enable any of the above. You will be responsible to lead a cross-functional team in the execution of the capacity ramp plan over the next 24-36 months, ultimately culminating in a demonstrated increase in supplier output in 2026, 2027 & 2028+. You will work closely with the Gas Power Sourcing Leader, as well as the Gas Power Sourcing CFO, to define the resources necessary to execute the strategy, including GE Vernova personnel, contracted services, OPEX, and CAPEX requirements. Success in this role will require you to partner with the Sourcing Product (F2F) leadership, as well as your cross-function peers, to determine the most effective approach towards aligning the incremental resources focused on supplier capacity growth. It is expected that a portion of the resources will report directly to the Supplier Capacity Leader, while some number will be embedded within other functional teams.

Success in this role will require you to build strong relationships with critical external suppliers and key internal stakeholders, leading a cross-functional effort that should include Sourcing, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Pivot-to-Value.
