Role: Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor – UK CAA Part 66 B1 or B1/B2
Location: London City Airport
Salary: Earn up to £93,649 in your first year
Join our clients close-knit line maintenance team at London City Airport, where you'll lead a skilled group of Licensed Engineers maintaining a modern Embraer E190 fleet. As on-the-day leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a culture built on integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement. What you’ll do:
- Oversee the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance activities.
- Ensure the team meets both scheduled and reactive maintenance demands.
- Coordinate work requirements and maintenance priorities.
- Manage and support defect rectification.
- Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintain clear and effective communication across the team.
- Provide hands-on leadership and guidance.
- Promote a positive and supportive team culture.
- Support both current operational needs and future business growth.
What you’ll bring to BA Cityflyer:
- Strong understanding of current CAA Part 145 procedures.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams.

Your experience:
- CAA Part-66 Category B1 or B1/B2 licence with minimum 5 years certification experience.
- At least 1 current aircraft type authorisation
- Current Embraer 190 type rating is desirable however type training will be provided to successful candidates.
- Valid full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Ability to hold an airport restricted zone access
- Ability to hold an airside driving licence
