As Workday Operations Specialist within our People Services team, you’ll support the Workday Operational Excellence Manager in the technical and functional aspects of the HR systems (e.g. Workday) and processes and establishing the appropriate Workday post-go-live knowledge and continuous improvement. The scope includes recruitment, hiring & onboarding, termination & offboarding, talent management & development and Your Voice surveys as well as projects as part of the Workday roadmap, Global/local Workday projects or Global/local projects connected to Workday as a source system. The team is focused on continuous improvement processes; there will be opportunities for you to improve processes and implement best-in-class ways of working.

Main responsibilities:

  • Administer Organization and Employee & Contractor data on behalf of SBU Europe, France and North America as per their respective Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Create, update, activate, deactivate and delete master data relating to organization, positions, employees and contractors Globally. Manage HR queries from employees using the procedures provided and articles in the knowledge base. Work in the case management tool to report each case and progress on the resolution. Provide customer service to the employees mainly with People Services queries verbally and in writing.

  • Developing standards for storing and accessing data using tools such as relational databases and data warehouses. Creating guidelines for data structure within an organization to ensure consistency in how information is stored, organized, and accessed. Build good relationship with other technical teams (Automation Team; ELC & Technology; ITS) to manage and solve problems and come up with great initiatives which can give wholesome UX to stakeholders and customers. Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges. Present information using data visualization techniques.

  • Maintain Organization, Position, Employee & Contractor data in Workday relating to specified Sanofi entities within the perimeter of SBO Global and deliver one or more of the following services as per their respective Service Level Agreements

  • Prepare high impact, complex reports globally​. Managing high impact data related to Workday, concerning mass employees or several groups where collaboration is needed. Monitor data quality (Qlik Sense and Workday) and identify potential issues and take pro-active measures. Leading and coordinating transformation related project. Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns. Test and ensure that all related interfaces between Workdays and systems function correctly

  • Serve as a liaison with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Partnership Resources, IT teams, and other groups on matters pertaining to HR systems. Execute in compliance with Sanofi policies and guidelines. Complete all activities as per the global Core Model and operational KPIs. Develop expert level knowledge of the activities in scope as well as local knowledge of entities in scope. Resolve high-priority and business-critical ServiceNow incidents, service requests, and change requests through detailed root cause analysis. Manage complex global compensation corrections and troubleshoot configuration, process, and data-related issues.

  • Global Compensation correction and Service Management & Module. RPA Management - SME roles - daily monitoring, requests from finance and access management, Ownership development with automation & L4 AIMS team. Investigate and resolve complex recruitment cases - job application, job requisition issues, referral validation, manage blocking events rehires. Exit Module (Passport) Support - cancel exit interview, end contract etc.

  • Provide expert support for employee exit processes, including rescinds, contract amendments, termination corrections, and process exceptions. Support global reorganization initiatives by conducting organizational impact assessments and validating structural changes in OrgStudio.

About you:

  • Experience: 8-10 years of first-hand experience in HR role preferably in an international multicultural environment. Broad understanding of HR process and activities

  • Technical skills: Computer literate and familiar with HR / Human Capital Management related tools & systems like e.g., Workday, ServiceNow. Advanced level of Microsoft Office Suit (Excel, Word etc.).

  • Soft skills: Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner. Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with People Services front line teams with an end-to-end mindset.

  • Continuous improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activities. Update country manual, work instructions and SOPs as new cases and information may arise

  • Education: Graduate or master’s degree with HR or business administration.

  • Languages: Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written).
