Position Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and visionary leader to serve as the Head of Business Ops. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction of the department, overseeing team operations, and ensuring seamless communication and coordination across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business operations, strategic planning, and team management, with the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of strategic materials and reports to support decision-making.
- Manage and lead the Planning Part team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between different departments to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate business operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Ensure the efficient allocation of resources to support departmental activities.
- Collaborate with senior management to align departmental strategies with overall business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent the department in cross-functional meetings and projects, advocating for the team's needs and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, business operations, and team leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in cross-departmental coordination and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a leadership role within a large organization.
- Knowledge of financial and budgetary processes.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
Compensation for this role, for candidates based in Mountain View, CA is expected to be between $210,000 to $250,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
