Summary:
Works under the Director of Labor Productivity as a part of the Memorial Corporate Finance Team. Supports leadership across the system to understand and resolve challenges in the efforts to achieve staffing expectations. Additional responsibilities include supporting further labor program development, labor training, FTE budget development, and special projects in analytics and performance.Responsibilities:
Organizes materials for reports and presentations including project data, analyses, and updates to key stakeholders. Monitors and reports project progression using existing and custom labor tools. Presents information in a clear, concise manner with complete and accurate data tailored to the recipient’s comprehension level.Leads, facilitates, and engages work groups designed to improve labor processes and operational performance activities. Conducts complex process evaluations such as Kaizen Events, Gemba Walks, flow charting, A3 PDSA and other efficiency management strategies.Uses advanced skills in Excel and data extraction to evaluate opportunities and progress of selected focus areas with the intent to support leaders to make and sustain necessary changes to achieve target expectation.Uses the internal Memorial Healthcare System (MHS) reporting structure to monitor system labor performance. Be a creative force to develop system enhancements, train others to effectively use tools, and be a friendly supportive resource to aid hospital leaders in achieving and sustaining labor expectations.Competencies:

Complexity of Work: This role requires critical thinking skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective decision making, problem solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to identify issues, conduct investigations, and work collaboratively with all staff toward resolution. Requires extensive interactions with individuals at all levels, including executive staff. Advanced Excel skills including, but are not limited to, pivot tables, vlookup, “if” statements, and other more complex Excel functions. The incumbent must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in healthcare with a focus in operations, finance, or analytics with excellent skills in Microsoft Office products. Experience in Tableau is preferred. Other Information: Additional Education Info: Bachelor's in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Business, or related field. MHA or MBA degree preferred.Additional Certification Info: Certifications in Lean Healthcare and/or Six Sigma is preferredWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:
