About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Team Leader – Resident Engineer / Site Supervisor to support the delivery and supervision of a major highway infrastructure project in Timor-Leste. The successful candidate will assist the Team Leader in managing construction supervision activities, ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with expertise in Highway Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Have a minimum of 20 (twenty) years of cumulative experience in Civil Engineering and thereof a minimum of 10 (ten) years related to Highway road construction supervision.
- Have served in a similar capacity on at least 2 (two) Highway Road or large roads construction projects of similar nature with each project 200 (two hundred) million USD or more construction costs.
- Preferably be a full-time employee of the PMC since at least 5
- Have relevant international experience and working experience of at least 3 years in developing countries.
- Fluent in writing and speaking English mandatory
- Responsible for the supervision of the progress and compliance of the works with the DBF Contract, the technical specifications and the approved detailed design.
