Raytheon UK is seeking a Graduate Financial Program Controls Analyst to join our Finance team at our Malvern site with an October/November 2026 start. This is a hybrid role with onsite attendance 3 days per week.
What You Will Do:
Supported by an experienced finance team you will:
Provide critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain
Partner with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution
Support of all programs’ financial aspects including financial planning (LRP, AOP, working Capital, Monthly Financial Performance Reporting, variance Analysis, Data Review and Reporting and NBI)
Program controls such as developing estimates at complete (EACs) and execution of EVM
Support the development of manpower, material and other direct costs associated for Bids & Proposals using estimating and pricing tools ensuring TINA compliance where applicable
Provide estimating support for the development of Basis of Estimates to include validating and analysing actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and confirming estimating approach is sound
Support gate reviews and audits as required
What you will learn:
This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop a broad understanding of financial and program controls within a leading aerospace and defence organisation. Alongside experienced finance professionals and partnering with Program Management and wider business functions, you will develop your commercial awareness, analytical skills and understanding of how financial information supports successful program delivery. You will also have opportunities to develop your knowledge of industry systems, processes and tools, including SAP, Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications and Skills You Must have:
A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Relevant work experience (such as a placement year) within a finance related role
A willingness to learn and develop within a commercial finance environment
Resilience and ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced, growing organisation
Commercial awareness with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive, inquisitive, and eager to take ownership
Strong attention to detail and commitment to process adherence
Highly organised and self-motivated
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build relationships across the business
Ability to analyse and interpret financial data
Experience using Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Able to obtain and maintain the relevant UK SC clearance required for the role
Qualifications and Skills We Would Prefer:

Exposure to SAP, Power BI, or similar business systems
