COME JOIN THE FUN AT UNCLE BUCK’S!
At UNCLE BUCK’S, Front of House isn’t just about taking orders or clearing tables. It’s about creating a great time.
We’re looking for outgoing, energetic people who know how to make guests feel welcome, keep things moving, and bring some personality to every shift.
Whether you’re greeting guests, slinging drinks, running food, serving up favorites, or jumping in to help your teammates, you’ll play a big part in making every visit one guests want to repeat.
Front of House opportunities may include Servers, Hosts, Bartenders, Bussers, Food Runner and other guest-facing positions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Bring the energy and deliver friendly, memorable service to every guest.
- Take orders, serve food and beverages, run food, seat guests, bus tables, or support other Front of House functions based on your role and the needs of the team.
- Process guest transactions accurately
- Follow all applicable procedures for serving and selling alcoholic beverages.
- Keep your station and guest areas clean, stocked, organized, and ready for action.
- Pitch in with opening, closing, setup, breakdown, cleaning, and restocking.
- Work side-by-side with Front and Back of House teammates to keep the experience running smoothly.
- Jump in wherever needed. Around here, teamwork matters.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and operating procedures.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- A guest-first attitude and a knack for making people feel welcome.
- Positive energy and a willingness to have fun while getting the job done.
- The ability to stay cool, friendly, and focused when things get busy.
- A willingness to learn. Restaurant experience is great, but a great attitude can go a long way.
- The ability to learn menus, restaurant procedures, and point-of-sale systems.
- Reliability, hustle, and pride in doing a job well.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must meet applicable age, licensing, and certification requirements for assigned responsibilities, including the sale or service of alcoholic beverages.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is an active job, so you’ll be on the move! Team members regularly stand and walk for extended periods and may bend, reach, carry, and transport food, beverages, dishes, and restaurant supplies. Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 50 lbs. may be required.
INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT:
You’ll work with support and direction from restaurant leadership while using good judgment to take care of guests, prioritize responsibilities, and handle routine situations. When something bigger comes up, you’ll know when to bring in a leader.
