Description

Training, and creating training documentation
Oversees our RMS and JMS systems and databases
Assists with special projects as assigned
Prepares and maintains statistical and administrative reports
Creates, processes, and distributes confidential and sensitive documents and correspondence
Communicates and acts as liaison with other departments, and agencies
Attends meetings to represent the department
Compose and types correspondences, reports and other documents
Technical support- password resets and other smaller technical support to users
Ability to be on a On Call rotation
Performs related duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a law enforcement environment
Experience working with law enforcement software
Data Integrity experience
IT knowledge and experience
Experience training others
Customer service experience
The Ideal Candidate will have excellent attention to detail; excellent customer service skill; technical savvy; experience working with a records management system.
This position is non-exempt from overtime.Considerable knowledge of:
- Law enforcement terminology, procedures and forms
- Records management
- Business English, spelling, arithmetic
- Modern office practices, procedures and equipment
- Rules and procedures of assigned department, including state and federal law
Working knowledge of:
- Principles and practices of administration
Skill in:
- Use of computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or database
- Use of modern office equipment
Ability to:
- Be a part of an on-call rotation
- Work outside of normal business hours and on weekends
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Multitask answering phone calls while performing job duties
