General Summary:

Qualcomm is looking for a visionary and technically grounded product leader with deep expertise in GPU hardware, heterogeneous compute, and system-level platforms to drive the evolution of the GPU roadmap across emerging workloads in the AI/ML space spanning datacenter, edge and mobile platforms. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will partner closely with world-class engineers, software teams, and ecosystem partners to define and deliver differentiated GPU technologies that scale across multiple end markets, with emphasis on the datacenter. Qualcomm’s teams are redefining performance-per-watt, scalability, and platform integration – enabling developers and partners to build the next generation of intelligent, visual, and compute-intensive experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Vision: Own the end-to-end GPU platform product strategy and lifecycle—from architectural definition through commercialization with emphasis on the datacenter market segment.
• Drive Platform Innovation: Guide the development of next-generation GPU capabilities spanning AI acceleration, and power-efficient system integration. Partner with AI, CPU, and system teams to advance heterogeneous computing and differentiated platform features.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Serve as the central product leadership point for GPU platforms, working across architecture, hardware, software, tools, and ecosystem organizations to align requirements, priorities, execution plans, and go-to-market strategies.
• Shape the Roadmap: Define and execute multi-year GPU technology strategy and product roadmaps for AI-centric data center platforms and rack level systems spanning compute, networking and memory subsystems.
• Champion Ecosystem Adoption: Drive strong engagement with developers, ISVs, OEMs, and strategic partners to ensure robust enablement, tooling, and software support for GPU platforms across diverse workloads.
• Partner with business unit leadership to derive crisp product requirements, craft compelling market and competitive positioning, launch plans and go-to-market collateral.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in GPU, compute platforms, graphics, AI acceleration, or related semiconductor or systems industries.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• 15+ years of industry experience in GPUs, compute platforms, or advanced SoC technologies.
• 10+ years of leadership experience.
• Direct experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), compilers and optimization toolchains.
• Deep system-level knowledge of AI accelerators, CPU/GPU architectures, interconnect fabrics (PCIe, CXL, UAL etc), memory hierarchies, storage subsystems, and rack-level system design (power delivery, cooling, cabling, rack orchestration).
• Expert knowledge of GPU hardware architecture, datacenter scale systems, heterogeneous system architectures, software stacks, APIs, and AI/ML algorithm and acceleration trends.
• 6+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$237,800.00 - $356,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
