Description
Demonstrate ability to compare and analyze the readily observable, functional, structural, or composite characteristics (whether similar to or divergent from obvious standards) of data, people, or things
Setup equipment for staff use, performing and ensuring proper installation of cable lines, operating system and appropriate software for main office or satellite offices
Perform technical repair services of computers, printer terminals, and networking devices
Troubleshooting and repair techniques
Read electronic schematics and make necessary repairs
Maintain up-to-date IT procedures as per funding sources requirements and County IT policies
Assist Fiscal Dept., Program Specialist, and Executive Director with Client Tracking Software/Upgrades, Local, County, State, and Federal IT compliance issues
Maintain and upgrade Disaster Recovery Plan procedures as needed
Assist Fiscal Dept. and Program Specialist in maintaining current and up-to-date software to keep agency functioning at optimal level
Assist Fiscal Dept., Program Specialist, and Executive Director with current and new developments affecting the agency and our client tracking systems
Must demonstrate sound organizational skills
Must be a self-starter, people oriented, and demonstrate a strong willingness to follow instructions
Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record and complying with personnel policies Perform any and/or all duties assigned by the Executive Director
Associates degree or Certification in Networking or related field
Must have at least three (3+) years work experience in information technology field developing network security features for enterprise applications
Additional IT certifications preferred and must possess at least one of the following certifications: COMPTIA:A+, NETWORK+, SERVER+, and/or SECURITY+
Knowledge of industry standards in computer hardware and software preferred
Knowledge and at least one year experience in Finance Related and Client Tracking Systems for public non-profit environment
Certificates, Licenses AND Registration:
Valid transportation on the job required
Valid driver’s license required
Valid auto/driver's liability insurance required
Experience in developing IP security products
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Excellent requirement analysis and design skills
Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and PPP
Computer communication interfaces with RS-232
Internet security standards such a IPSec
