Portland-area Class A drivers: no-touch OTR miles across the western states, home every two weeks, and a paid seat built for new grads.

This one is made for drivers just starting out. The freight is no-touch, so you're not wrestling loads while you learn the job. You run the western states and come home every two weeks.

Pay

• About $1,500 a week, roughly $78,000 a year
• $0.50 a mile
• About 2,000 miles a week
• $15 per stop
• Paid weekly, direct deposit

Your week

OTR lanes across the western states. No-touch freight — no loading or unloading. Out about two weeks, then home for your reset. Planned loads and 24/7 dispatch.

New to trucking?

Your truck

Assigned and take-home, automatic or 10-speed, about 1.5 years old, 24/7 dispatch.

Requirements

• Class A CDL in your home state, 21 or older
• Recent CDL-school grad (120+ hours) welcome
• Acceptable driving record, no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
• DOT physical, hair and urine screen
