Education and/or Experience:
- Engineering degree highly preferred or combination of equivalent work experience and education
- Experience in foam manufacturing, chemical processing, automotive manufacturing, or a related production environment.
- Experience with process control systems, HMIs, data collection, and quality systems.
- Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- A high level of analytical ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be proficient with computer software applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Create spreadsheets and databases and be familiar with AutoCAD
Job Responsibilities:
- Verify startup readiness by confirming chemical inventories, HMI communication, equipment functionality, and line readiness.
- Ensure compliance with process control plans, operating procedures, safety requirements, and 5S standards.
- Develop and execute TPM action plans, support maintenance activities, and coordinate with Maintenance and Operations on equipment/process issues.
- Analyze production data, lead density and scrap reduction initiatives, and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions while providing leadership and direction to hourly team members as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
