Role Summary:
As a content creator and designer, you'll create compelling and engaging content including animations, infographics, motion graphics, videos, presentations and other brand collateral for a variety of audiences. Your content will be shared across multiple channels internally and externally therefore must be professional and support our overarching brand.
You'll be involved in the design, creation and implementation of content over a variety of topics and mediums.
You’ll provide support with day to day content creation and management of our digital channels as required.
You'll work collaboratively with other members of the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team and the wider business to ensure that products and services meet needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather information about user requirements and desired outcomes
- Propose and sketch out a range of visual concepts both on paper and using software applications
- Work closely with the content owners and customers to validate initial solution ideas, and drive the elaboration of concepts into more formalised designs
- Ensure the content is compelling cross-platform - mobile phones, tablets and computers
- Work collaboratively across LCCC to ensure content is accurate
- Liaise regularly with users both internal and external to ensure designs meet their requirements and core business objectives
- Ensure design standards, brand guidelines and best practices are adhered to
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Commercial experience in the areas of delivering compelling and engaging professional content such as animations, graphics, brochures, videos.
- The ability to communicate your designs to key stakeholders both technical and non-technical
- You are well-versed in the standard graphic design tools and can handle them professionally and efficiently
- You want to make things happen and are motivated by having a real impact on the success of the business

- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience of relevant software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Experience of creating and managing content for websites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- An awareness of accessibility for online channels
