POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a collaborative and driven professional to help shape and advance the electronic business capabilities and data interfaces supporting our growing annuity business. This role will work cross-functionally with operations, sales, industry partners, TPAs, and key vendors to deliver scalable automation solutions, strengthen platform connectivity, and improve the overall quality and efficiency of business processes.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of annuity industry knowledge, technology fluency, and quality assurance experience, with the ability to translate business needs into practical, strategic solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and execute updates to processes required for day-to-day support of business
- Research and remediation of process breaks including communication, testing and deployment
- Create and review business requirements and user stories to ensure complete and accurate development and testing
- Support the development of industry-standard distribution automation solutions across Global Atlantic’s annuity policy administration platforms
- Serve as a strategic partner to operations teams supporting annuity business lines
- Collaborate with TPAs and external partners to define, enhance, and implement automation capabilities aligned to industry standards
- Provide subject matter expertise on B2B-supported services for internal stakeholders and project teams, including capability reviews, impact assessments, and strategic recommendations
- Lead and represent project initiatives across cross-functional teams and external partners
- Develop and maintain effective testing strategies, procedures, and documentation
- Lead external testing resources to successfully complete test scenarios for all stages of project testing including initial review, pre-production, and end to end testing with internal and external partners
- Identify, document, and analyze testing results, defects, and usability issues, and partner with stakeholders to drive resolution
- Contribute to the development, continuous improvement, and automation of quality assurance standards, best practices, and internal processes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 3 + years of experience in the annuity insurance industry within operations, technology, or a related function
- Experience with annuity industry-standard operational technologies, such as DTCC, ACORD, and IRI is preferred
- Understanding of business and operational workflows related to annuity products
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, contributing as both a leader and partner
- Demonstrated adaptability, strong work ethic, and high degree of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Familiarity with AI tools including Chat GPT and Claude
- Familiarity with XML and JSON
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
This is the expected annual base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance. Base Salary $80,000 to $100,000
