Description
As a Patient Care Technician at Franciscan Health, you’ll perform delegated patient care activities. You are the caregivers who spend most of the time with our patients. You help build trust, provide comfort, and support recovery through compassionate, person-centered care. Working alongside nurses and healthcare professionals throughout the hospital, you'll gain exposure to a variety of patient populations and care environments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You must either have an active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license through the State of Indiana OR prior Patient Care Technician experience in an acute care health care organization OR are a nursing student that has completed your 1st semester of clinicals OR have completed the Franciscan PCT Training Program
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Franciscan will provide BLS training and recertification as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED
