As a Distribution Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day operations and a team of skilled employees, driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of products to our customers.
Your role:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports, ensuring daily work is performed safely, accurately, and efficiently while fostering accountability, engagement, and a positive team environment.
- Drive operational performance by monitoring and improving key metrics, including productivity, equipment utilization, cost, quality, and overall efficiency, while identifying opportunities to optimize workflow and performance.
- Ensure team members are properly trained on operational processes, work instructions, tools, and Health & Safety requirements, maintaining strict compliance with established specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
- Apply Lean methodologies and continuous improvement principles to streamline operations, eliminate waste, improve processes, and support the successful implementation of new products, processes, and operational initiatives.
- Support business and people-management activities, including financial forecasting and annual operating planning, employee selection, performance management, development, career growth, and other day-to-day operational leadership responsibilities.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 4+ years of relevant experience in industrial operations, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, distribution, or a related environment if qualifying through vocational education; no prior experience is required when qualifying with a Bachelor’s degree. Experience leading, coaching, or developing employees in an operational environment is preferred.
- Your skills include knowledge of distribution or operational processes, performance metrics, Health & Safety requirements, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies, along with the ability to identify opportunities to improve productivity, workflow, cost, and overall operational efficiency.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering, or an equivalent field; OR vocational education in a related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Lean Leadership Training/Certification or equivalent is required.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You’re an effective people leader and communicator with strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills, and the ability to coach and develop employees, collaborate across teams, manage competing priorities, and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in PA is $74,000 to $117,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
