Job Description Summary

Lead and manage all tender-related activities across Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries to maximize business opportunities, ensure timely and compliant tender submissions, optimize tender win rates, and provide strategic insights to support commercial objectives. Act as the focal point between Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Market Access, and Government stakeholders to ensure effective tender execution and business growth.

Job Description

Major accountabilities: 

Tender Management:

  • Monitor and identify tender opportunities across Saudi Arabia and Gulf markets.

  • Lead end-to-end tender lifecycle management from opportunity assessment to award

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and submission of tender documents.

  • Maintain tender calendars and proactively manage critical deadlines.

  • Coordinate with distributors and external partners to secure tender participation.

Tender Analytics & Business Intelligence:

  • Analyze historical tender performance, market share, pricing trends, and competitor activities.

  • Develop predictive analyses to identify high-value opportunities and improve win rates.

  • Generate regular tender performance dashboards and reports for management.

  • Pricing analysis & visibility of the competition pricing strategy.

  • Evaluate tender profitability and provide recommendations to optimize business returns.

 Pricing & Commercial Support:

  • Support tender pricing strategy development in collaboration with Commercial, Finance, and Market Access teams.

  • Conduct financial impact and scenario analyses before bid submission.

  • Monitor tender price evolution and benchmark against competitors.

  • Ensure pricing approvals are obtained according to company governance.

  • Coordinating with Sandoz d.d. on required documentation and approvals (Part of the approval process).

  • Sharing the signed offers from Sandoz d.d. with Distributors and follow up with distributors on the status of the submitted offers.

  • Collaborate closely with Cluster Team and Sandoz d.d. on the relevant business-related matters linked to tenders.

  • Checking the POs/Contracts to make sure the offered prices and lead-times are matching with our commercial offers.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with Commercial, Market Access, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Legal teams.

  • Coordinate with Supply chain to ensure product availability and supply readiness.

  • Facilitate resolution of tender-related operational issues.

  • Main point of contact with Sandoz dd tender stakeholders.

​Compliance & Governance:

  • Own the Tender SOPs and end to end process

  • Own the tender tracker and ensure the data are updated

  • Ensure all tender activities comply with internal SOPs, local regulations, and company compliance standards.

  • Maintain complete tender documentation

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop annual tender opportunity plans and forecasts.

  • Identify business risks and opportunities within tender channels.

  • Provide recommendations to improve tender participation, profitability, and market share growth.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.

  • +5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry Tender Management, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, Pricing, or Business Analytics within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Understanding of Saudi and Gulf tender environments.

  • Advanced Excel.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.

  • Tender pricing and profitability analysis.

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical procurement processes.

  • Very good command of English.
