Compensation: €27,000 - €32,000 / year
Description
Location: County Roscommon, Republic of Ireland
Salary: €27,000 - €32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site works under the direction of the Team Leader and Contracts Manager
- Assist with spill response operations and hand-digging excavation works to facilitate contamination removal
- Drive machinery and use power tools to carry out intrusive construction works
- Keep sites tidy, clean and safe, identifying potential hazards and working in a controlled manner
- Support the maintenance and servicing of equipment, reporting faults when identified
- Assist with collecting photographs of completed works for documentation purposes
- Carry out works in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Utilise your own initiative, skills and knowledge where appropriate
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience gained in a construction site environment with appreciation for health and safety
- Full EU driving licence
- Ability to undertake a variety of physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Can-do attitude with an adaptable approach to work in a varied and sometimes challenging environment
- Positive attitude with a motivated approach and able to use own initiative
- Basic Irish Garda Clearance check
- Right to work in the Republic of Ireland
- Willingness to work away from home when necessary
- Ability to operate plant and machinery
- Experience with remediation works
- CSR/CSCS Card
- Background in demolition, construction, or landscaping
