Hostess

Our client is seeking a polished, warm, and professional Hostess to join the restaurant team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a fine-dining restaurant and understand the level of service and attention to detail expected in a premium dining environment.

Responsibilities

* Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival.
* Manage guest seating and maintain an organised seating plan.
* Handle reservations and assist with guest enquiries.
* Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
* Maintain a welcoming and professional appearance at all times.
* Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest flow.
* Monitor guest needs and provide prompt assistance where required.
* Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
* Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service.

Requirements

* HND/BSc in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
* At least 1-3 years working experience as a Hostess
* Previous experience as a Hostess in a fine-dining restaurant is required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Well-groomed, confident, and professional appearance.
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
* Good knowledge of restaurant etiquette and fine-dining service standards.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
