What You Will Do:

The Technology Implementation Lead (P3) is responsible for leading teams, projects, and initiatives that drive the design, implementation, and optimization of critical business processes and develop our capabilities within Aftermarket Operations. This role ensures that technology solutions align with organizational strategy, improve operational effectiveness, and support long-term business transformation. The Technology Implementation Lead partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure platforms that enable continuous improvement and innovation.

Where You Will Work From:
This role will work from one of the following Pratt & Whitney sites:

  • East Hartford, CT (Preferred Site)
  • West Palm Beach, FL
  • Columbus, GA

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business units to understand strategic goals and translate them into actionable technology roadmaps that align and enhance our capabilities.

  • Direct daily operations of assigned technology teams, ensuring project milestones, resource planning, and delivery quality.

  • Collaborate with Aftermarket Sustainment Engineering technologist and project leads to ensure alignment.

  • Participate in the technology program full lifecycle phases: planning, requirements, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency across global sites with the intent to scale common capabilities within the network.

  • Maintain a strong project documentation process to enable a develop, pilot and scale technology framework for multiple sites technology deployment.

  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend opportunities for innovation and optimization.

  • Promote awareness and encourage technological innovation and OpX initiatives to enhance quality, cost reduction and operational performances

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, supply chain, and operations) to localize solutions for different regions and ensure compliance to our requirements.

  • Travel to North America AMO sites to assess business capabilities, opportunities for future capability development and best practice sharing.

  • Regularly interact and interface with stakeholders across multiple time zones.

  • Travel: Up to 20% within the United States.  

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Operations Management, Continuous Improvement, or general Aerospace or Aftermarket industry experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • Project management skills and experience driving change management.

  • Ability to influence, drive change, and deliver results in a matrixed environment.

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively across all levels of management and shop personnel.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Degree in STEM field; Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering fields preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney shop practices & processes, quality standards, and inspections methods & tools

  • Familiarity with Aftermarket Operations Manufacturing and understanding of repair and engine center operations.

  • Proficient in the application of problem solving and continuous improvement tools: CORE/ACE/SixSigma, Process Certification, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, etc.

  • Experience with Solumina MES, SAP ERP, and MS Office Suite.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
