Description
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Operations Manager. The position will be based at our facility in Greenwood, SC (Puckett Ferry Rd). We are offering relocation assistance for candidates who reside within the U.S.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $146000 - $215000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

## What you’ll do:
Responsible for managing and directing G2 assembly operations to produce and ship product representing $137M+ in annual sales with a focus on safety, quality, on time delivery, labor productivity, and continuous improvement.
This person in this role will lead value stream managers and supervisors across two shifts who in total have ~200 hourly employees reporting to them. They will communicate, interact, and coordinate with employees in all functions across the business. This facility is experiencing significant growth over the next few years and will require effective strategy, communication, and change management skills to drive the culture required to execute to our targets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Manage and enforce safety standards, following all safety rules and procedures including PPE standards, addressing unsafe conditions, and investigating incidents or observations.
B. Develop action plans and objectives from the operations profit plan for High 5 metrics, SIOP, and capex projects. Cascade objectives through entire work force.
C. Support and drive Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste
D. Remain knowledgeable of required personnel-related policies and procedures of the company, monitor and correct employee actions or behavior to ensure adherence with required policies, procedures, systems, and rules.
E. Serve as a role model for Eaton’s value, culture model, philosophies and code of ethics.
F. Lead daily Tier 3 meetings, review daily goals, interrupters, and metrics. Escalate urgent needs as appropriate.
G. Manage production capacity and manning strategy to support financial objectives.
H. Facilitate problem-solving and corrective action for production issues.
I. Monitor performance to objectives, implementing responsive tactical changes as required.
J. Foster a relationship of teamwork throughout the operations of the plant.
K. Identify and nurture talent.
## Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum ten (10) years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum five (5) years as a leader of people

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience operating in an engineering to order business
- Experience with continuous improvement processes and practices
- Manning strategy / labor planning experience
- Understanding of SIOP process
