IT Support Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Technician will troubleshoot end-user issues, maintain IT systems, deploy technology solutions, and support ongoing projects in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment while working as part of a collaborative IT team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

End User Support & Administration

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, mobile devices, conference room technology, printers, handheld scanners, and other end-user technologies. 
• Manage support requests through our ticketing system, documenting issues, resolutions, and recurring problems. 
• Escalate complex issues as needed and ensure timely resolution. 
• Administer user accounts, permissions, licensing, and device management within Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune. 

Systems & Infrastructure

• Perform routine maintenance and monitoring activities, including system updates, patch management, endpoint security monitoring, and system health checks. 
• Support and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security. 
• Support network equipment installations and basic network troubleshooting. 
• Deployment & Project Support 
• Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software throughout the organization. 
• Assist with infrastructure improvements, equipment deployments, and facility expansion projects. 
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, IT team members, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and implement technology solutions that support operational goals. 

Documentation & Training

• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, inventory, support procedures, and ticket activity. 
• Create and update user guides and knowledge base articles. 
• Educate end users on technology best practices and basic troubleshooting techniques. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a similar role. 
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, end-user devices, user accounts, and endpoint management solutions in a business environment. 
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and mobile device issues. 
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. 
• Ability to clearly communicate support-related information verbally and in writing. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work both independently and collaboratively within a team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Work Requirements

• Must be onsite five days per week. 
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds of IT equipment. 
• Ability to spend extended periods standing, walking, and working throughout a large facility. 
• Comfortable working in warehouse, production, office, and equipment room environments. 
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. 
• Must possess and maintain valid government-issued identification required for occasional business travel. 
• Occasional travel to other Little Leaf Farms locations (Less than 10%) may be required to support projects, training, or operational needs. 
• Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional after-hours work required to support system upgrades, maintenance activities, or critical business needs. 
• Participation in an on-call rotation is required to help address urgent support issues and maintain business continuity. 

What Sets You Apart

• Experience supporting warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environments, including warehouse technology solutions such as RF scanning and label printing systems. 
• Experience with network infrastructure and structured cabling. 
• Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate, or similar). 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
