About the role:

The ST&S C&CM Project Lead is responsible for leading global C&CM programmes and projects that strengthen crisis, continuity and operational resilience across all of Supply, Trading & Shipping. Working with senior leaders, and C&CM and resilience teams globally, they will establish clear strategies, governance and performance measures; for projects that improve response capability and ensure validated readiness. This newly created role offers an ST&S-wide perspective across crisis continuity and resilience activities, acting as a central coordinator across business, regional and central teams. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering resilience solutions that help ST&S prepare for, respond to and recover from disruption, while influencing strategically important programmes across one of bp's most global and dynamic businesses.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of ST&S-wide C&CM and Resilience projects and programmes, including governance, planning and delivery tracking; to strengthen response capability. Work with the C&CM Managers to roll out bp- and ST&S-wide C&CM and Resilience initiatives, in line with business priorities.
• Own and maintain ST&S-wide C&CM and Resilience plans, standards and tooling, that support specific ST&S business C&CM programme delivery in line with GDP and compliance requirements.
• Own the tracking and reporting of the ST&S C&CM readiness (control health), providing insight, performance metrics and recommendations to support informed leadership decision-making.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships across business, central (C&CM and Resilience) and regional teams to drive collaboration, influence outcomes and embed capabilities.
• Coordinate the global ST&S C&CM Budget and annual operating plan, in line with business and central crisis and resilience priorities.
• When required, represent the C&CM function in governance forums, leadership meetings and cross-functional initiatives, providing clear insight, challenge and recommendations to senior partners.
• Support the management of incidents, crises and business disruptions

Essential Education:

• Degree or equivalent experience, in a relevant field

Desirable Experience:

• Significant experience in Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Emergency Response and/or Operational Resilience within a complex, multinational organisation.
• Experience of program and performance management, inspiring change and navigating complexity
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to implement, lead and drive initiatives that add real value
• Ability to quickly build and sustain deep networks –with peers, partners, and with the broader organisation
• Ability to analyse complex issues, interpret data and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to leadership.
• Excellent and intuitive communications skills - written and verbal
• Good partner engagement, relationship management and influencing skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and complex environment requiring strong planning and prioritisation skills.
• Performance oriented and a self-starter.
• Good facilitation and listening skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, planning and performance metrics
• Experience supporting live incidents, crisis events or business disruptions
