Purpose of the role

To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It's the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success. 

Accountabilities

• Management of client relationships to identify the clients financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance to support the analysis of data obtained from various sources, including the investment portfolio and cash flow, to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement and additional services to support client needs.
• Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
• Design of customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio.
• Communication of the value proposition of proposed solutions, justification of recommendations, and negotiation of terms that are beneficial for both the client and the bank.
• Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies support, and updates on market trends to ensure a positive and continuous relationship.
• Assessment of financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships, and implementation of measures to minimise potential losses.
• Documentation of all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability, and communicate findings effectively to support product development, service offerings, and the overall bank strategy.
• Monitoring of client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts.

Join us as an Analyst within International Corporate Banking, where you will support the Relationship Directors with coverage of Corporates headquartered in the Nordic region.

You will support the maintenance and development of relationships across our International Corporate client. As part of the role, you will be supporting Relationship Directors to proactively deepen client relationships, identifying, and managing solutions to meet a wide range of client needs. Working closely with the Relationship Director to create and work towards a balanced commercial plan to grow existing portfolios and support On-Boarding of new customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious banking professional looking to further their career within a client-facing Corporate Banking environment.

 Key responsibilities include:

• Support Relationship Directors in managing and developing client relationships across the corporates in the Nordic region.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to deepen client engagement and broaden wallet share.
• Help deliver banking and financing solutions that meet clients' strategic objectives.
• Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth client experience.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across product, risk, operations, and support teams.
• Maintain high standards of governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience in, or a strong understanding of, Corporate Banking and its products, services, and client needs.
• Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across a diverse range of internal and external partners.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with a genuine desire to learn, develop, and continuously enhance your skills.
• An understanding of credit fundamentals, client risk assessment, and sound lending principles.
• Experience supporting Relationship Management teams within a banking or financial services environment.
• Fluency in English is essential, together with proficiency in at least one Nordic language is preferred

• Exposure to Corporate Lending, Transaction Banking, Treasury Solutions, or related products and services.
• Experience supporting international banking clients or working within a Coverage function.
• Analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret financial statements, assess business performance, and identify key risks and opportunities.

This role is based in Frankfurt and follows a Hybrid working model, requiring you to be in the office three days per week.    

This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
