Goosepond Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team of five doctors and four licensed technicians. With the support of our dedicated veterinary technician team, our hospital has proudly served the community for more than 50 years.

What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgeries
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for patients
- Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and thorough patient assessments
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Support surgical and dental procedures, including preparation, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs throughout procedures and recovery
- Assist with radiographs, laboratory testing, and diagnostic procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Educate clients about treatments, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive care
- Collaborate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and support staff to maintain an efficient workflow
- Help deliver an exceptional experience for every patient and client
What You’ll Bring
- Current Veterinary Technician licensure
- Strong veterinary nursing and patient-care skills
- Confidence with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and diagnostic sample collection
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Strong communication and client-education skills
