Description
sulting in a reduction of experienced scientific capacity within the Immunology team. During the same period, the department will be supporting a significant HPV testing program, requiring approximately 17,460 HPV IgG and cLIA tests between August 2026 and January 2027, generating an estimated USD 174.6K in revenue.
• To support this project, 3 trained scientists will be primarily dedicated to HPV IgG/cLIA testing activities, significantly reducing their availability to perform routine Immunology testing and other operational responsibilities. As a result, an additional Scientist (G130) is required to maintain adequate capacity for routine sample testing, data review, result reporting, and daily laboratory operations.
• Without this backfill, the department faces increased risks of routine testing delays, turnaround time (TAT) breaches, staff overload, and reduced operational flexibility to support unexpected increases in testing volume. Prolonged resource constraints may also impact service quality, sponsor commitments, and the timely delivery of HPV testing activities supporting approximately USD 174.6K in revenue. Hiring one Scientist (G130) will mitigate these risks while ensuring business continuity, operational efficiency, and sustained support for both routine Immunology testing and revenue-generating HPV studies.
