You will be responsible for administering assessments, evaluating learning outcomes, providing feedback, and collaborating with stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of training initiatives and enhance employee development.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO?
Execute the Learning & Development (L&D) agenda specifically for the Tax team by playing a part in designing/ co-designing and implementing effective learning solutions.
This will include:
Collaborate with business leaders/ stakeholders to identify skills gaps and learning needs to support business goals
Implement L&D initiatives, evaluate and recommend learning solutions/enhancements
Have a good understanding about the ‘Future of Learning’ needs, able to help design programmes using innovative ways including action learning, self-directed learning, digital learning, blended learning etc.
Work with internal and external providers to design and deliver bespoke learning solutions aligned to business needs
Deliver and facilitate learning solutions
Assess the effectiveness and impact of the learning solution by leveraging technology where appropriate and use learning analytics to draw insight and make data-driven decisions.
End to end management of learning solutions and curriculum, budget monitoring/tracking and ad-hoc projects
Active promotion and communication about L&D policy, tools and processes to educate, excite and build commitment to the L&D agenda and drive learning culture
Support HRDC-related administration and periodic internal reporting to stakeholders
Partner with the HR Business Partners to provide specialist consultation for business stakeholders to diagnose development needs
WHAT YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE?
Degree holder, preferably in the field of Learning & Development, Psychology, Business, Accounting or Taxation
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience. Experience in a Tax function and/or Learning & Development role, particularly in designing, facilitating and implementing learning solutions, would be a distinct advantage
Familiar with digital learning platforms, virtual learning delivery, and emerging technologies such as Gen AI would be an advantage too.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with business leaders and subject matter experts to deliver impactful learning outcomes
Resourceful and able to work independently with minimum supervision while remaining steady under pressure
Excellent project management and ability to manage multiple projects within a dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and effective facilitation skills
Innovative, creative and ready to try something new (growth mindset)
Good business and digital acumen, with the ability to assess how a changing environment impacts business priorities and learning needs
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to share a compelling point of view
Good negotiation and dynamic interpersonal skills
