About The Role

Senior Analyst/Analyst, Consultancy

Knight Frank’s Consultancy Department offers a wide range of real estate business advisory services to clients, including site selection, project feasibility, real estate economic analysis of master plans, market studies, consumer research, real estate strategy and other bespoke studies. Knight Frank has completed a large number of projects for private and public sector clients, locally and overseas. 

The work is challenging and will stretch successful candidates to the hilt. It requires a broad understanding of business and policy matters, a deep grasp of real estate fundamentals, proficiency in market research and data analysis, good understanding of finance, ability to work with other professionals, attention to detail, and a relentless drive toward solving client problems holistically and creatively, and deliver answers in a timely and customer-friendly manner. We often work with a number of specialist team members and partners, and therefore, the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively is vital.  

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in the preparation of proposal, tender submission and pitches at presentations to secure fee-based consultancy assignments
  • Support the team to follow up with prospects and execute on various consultancy appointments, local and overseas
  • Act as Support or Principal executive for carrying out consultancy assignments in the areas of market studies, feasibility studies, and other bespoke analyses for various property markets
  • Point of contact with clients and partners for selected consultancy work assigned by the Department Head
  • Support the team to carry out market research, execute proficiency to use data subscription portals such as URA REALIS, SISV Realink, JTC J-Space, STB Stan, Real Capital Analytics, and other relevant data portals, and provide incisive market data findings
  • Liaise and meet with existing and prospective clients, support the team to conduct micro-market and environmental assessments, using geospatial tools, secondary and primary data, on-site information gathering and working with specialist partners where required
  • Authors market reports and provide clear commentaries backed by robust data analysis and well-researched market trends
  • Support team members to project manage complex and multi-period assignments involving different parties, record discussion points and findings, assemble disparate sources and formats of information into clear and informative reports
  • Work with Knight Frank overseas offices and other external parties in executing cross-border consultancy services
  • Work with the Department Head on project execution and other business development initiatives as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree or major in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good presentation, interpersonal & communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong client engagement skills, and customer orientation
  • Able to work with tight deadlines and handle pressure
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge in other software tools such as Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS is a plus
