Description
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A F&B TRAINING MANAGER:
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive food and beverage experience in an upscale, private club, or fine dining environment.

Minimum of 1–2 years in a training, supervisory, or management capacity; private club experience strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience developing and delivering formal training programs, SOPs, or service curricula; deep working knowledge of front-of-house service standards, fine dining etiquette, and beverage and wine fundamentals.

Must be highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing competing priorities across multiple outlets; strong facilitation and public speaking skills with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse hourly workforce.

Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as required.

Ability to work for extended periods on feet and carry up to 40 lbs.

Requires excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

ServSafe Food Handler/Manager certification required (or ability to obtain promptly).

TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification required.

Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) or wine certification (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers) a plus.

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems (Jonas, Northstar, or similar) preferred.

Ability to make independent decisions and function as a creative problem solver; collaborative leadership style with the credibility to coach peers and junior staff alike.

Ability to pass a drug test
