We’re hiring Marina Attendants (seasonal, full-time, and part-time) to help keep the marina running smoothly while delivering awesome guest experiences every day. You’ll be welcoming boaters, helping around the docks, supporting rentals and the store, and keeping the marina clean, safe, and inviting — all as part of a supportive, energetic team. Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

  • Provide friendly, professional service to all guests and marina members

  • Build positive relationships with marina tenants and learn guest preferences

  • Maintain a customer-focused attitude at all times

Retail & Cashier Duties

  • Process all sales transactions in accordance with company procedures

  • Operate the cash register and credit card system accurately

  • Handle cash responsibly and perform basic math functions

  • Maintain accurate inventory using Dockmaster systems

  • Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked

  • Answer phones professionally and complete forms clearly

  • Manage ice supply and store operations

  • Reserve, track, and assign temporary boat slips

Fuel Dock Duties

  • Maintain a safe work environment at fuel docks and pump-out stations

  • Assist with docking, tying lines, fueling, and pump-out operations

  • Verify fuel type and quantity before dispensing

  • Enter all fuel transactions accurately into the Point of Sale system

  • Maintain fuel dock cleanliness and safety standards

  • Assist customers with store purchases during fueling

Resort Boat Rental Duties

  • Manage and monitor the Stellar Boat Rental software to maximize rental availability and revenue.

  • Answer the Resort Boat Rentals phone line, return messages promptly, and respond to all rental inquiries within 24 hours.

  • Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times.

  • Process all sales and rentals accurately using the Point of Sale system, rental software, and the Resort Boat Rentals website.

  • Operate the cash register and credit card processing systems.

  • Maintain accurate records of boat and equipment reservations.

  • Prepare rentals by completing required paperwork, confirming safety equipment, and conducting pre-rental inspections.

  • Assign staff to complete boat run-downs, assist when needed, and ensure rentals are launched on time.

  • Provide clear instructions on equipment use, safety procedures, and rental policies.

  • Coordinate the return process, including end-of-rental inspections, cleaning, docking, and securing vessels.

Marina Maintenance

  • Keep docks, slips, and surrounding waters clean and free of debris

  • Perform light maintenance (painting, lighting, minor repairs, cobweb removal, etc.)

  • Maintain landscaping, flowers, and parking areas

  • Clean guest areas (restrooms, showers, seating areas) hourly

  • Empty trash daily and manage dock carts

  • Take initiative on maintenance and improvement projects

Professional Standards & Appearance

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times

  • Wear assigned uniform while on duty

  • Keep uniform in good condition (no wrinkles, holes, fraying, or fading)

  • Maintain clean and groomed hair and nails

  • All accessories and jewelry must appear professional and be approved by management

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must pass background check

  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including weekends and holidays

  • Minimum age: 19 years old to sell alcohol

  • Reliable transportation required

  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, standing on uneven surfaces)

  • Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
