This role is with Accellacare, part of ICON's clinical research network, where you’ll play a key role in transforming the clinical trial experience for patients and sponsors alike. Our global site network is designed with one goal in mind: to deliver better access, greater efficiency, and improved outcomes in clinical research.
We are seeking a , Study Start Up Associate II (Investigator Pricing Analyst/ Budget Analyst), with experience in clinical contracts and budgeting.
Key responsibilities include:
May be required to negotiate clinical site budgets, and occasionally clinical site contracts
Develop and manage investigator budget pricing for clinical research studies, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards, SOPs, and timelines.
Translate clinical trial protocols into appropriate CPT codes and fair market value cost estimates to support site budget development and proposal submissions.
Partner with Business Development, Sponsors, Project Teams, and Site Network stakeholders to prepare, revise, and finalize budget estimates, fee schedules, and country-specific cost models.
Provide subject matter expertise on investigator grants, fair market value methodologies, benchmark databases, and clinical trial budgeting best practices.
Support contract and budget negotiations by collaborating with Site Network negotiators and addressing pricing, formatting, and cost-related inquiries.
Build strong cross-functional and external relationships while driving process improvements, maintaining documentation and tracking tools, and ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Your Profile:
You will bring relevant clinical contracts and budgeting professional experience, and should possess a strong understanding of clinical research contracting and financial processes.
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research or pharma, that includes:
Clinical site budget development and/or negotiation
Investigator grant pricing and financial assessments
Clinical trial site contract negotiation and management (i.e., clinical trial agreement, contract amendment, or Ancillary service / vendor contracts)
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines for clinical trials, including ICH-GCP and local regulatory requirements.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
