Job Title: Event Lot Attendant / Event Staff
Location: St. Louis, Missouri - Powell Hall
Compensation: $18/hr - $20/hr
Schedule: Part-Time

As an Event Lot Attendant, you are the welcoming face on the front line. You’ll greet, engage, and assist every guest entering and exiting our facilities. Responsibilities include handling cash, making correct change, monitoring traffic flow, and ensuring safe vehicle and pedestrian movement.

What You Will Do
- Greet every customer with courtesy, enthusiasm, and stellar customer service.
- Collect parking fees efficiently and provide accurate change.
- Understand and manage different types of parkers, including season ticket holders, VIPs, regular visitors, and staff.
- Get to know the layout of each venue to provide clear directions and answer guest questions.
- Complete daily activity and financial reports accurately.
- Manage exit and entry booths during peak volume hours to keep traffic moving smoothly.
- Maintain clear communication with management, supervisors, and traffic control teams.
- Address guest parking inquiries, escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Adapt traffic flow strategies quickly during equipment issues or lot adjustments.
- Demonstrate urgency, timeliness, and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Handle additional event-day duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: Strong customer service background required; previous cash handling or point-of-sale experience required.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work across various St. Louis facility locations and event types.
- Communication: Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English clearly.
- Decision Making: Capable of making independent decisions and standing firm on parking policies with confidence.
Physical Demands
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions—heat, wind, cold, or rain.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 10 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and stay active for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and reach frequently throughout a shift.
