Your key responsibilities:

Deutsche Bank Private Bank Capital Markets Department in Asia is seeking a high caliber professional to join the team as Structured Products dealer, based in Hong Kong. 

• Provide timely and accurate execution of Structured Products and OTC Derivatives across multiple asset classes in an efficient manner, demonstrating sound judgement, strong market knowledge and commercial acumen. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding order status and execution updates.

• Identify market opportunities, develop investment ideas, and structure bespoke multi-asset solutions that cater to Wealth Management (WM) clients' needs. Provide investment guidance and support to Relationship Managers (RMs) and Investment Managers (IMs).

• Drive product and payoff implementation, working closely with key stakeholders both within and outside Deutsche Bank to deliver innovative solutions to WM clients.

• Prepare marketing materials, provide product training to RMs and IMs, and organise product campaigns to support business growth and client engagement.

• Lead and support projects in areas such as process automation, system enhancements, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and new business initiatives.

• Manage the product onboarding process, including conducting product due diligence, reviewing product documentation, participating in new product approval processes, and overseeing the full product lifecycle.

• Build and manage relationships with control functions and business partners across Compliance, Legal, Audit, Operations and Risk. Proactively identify and mitigate operational and regulatory risks in day-to-day business activities, ensuring adherence to all applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external counterparties and vendors, with the objective of positioning Deutsche Bank as a best-in-class solutions provider in the market.

• Demonstrate strong teamwork and partnership across the Bank, working effectively with cross-functional teams to support business growth and client delivery.

• Provide timely and effective communication with internal bankers and external clients regarding order status, execution updates and transaction-related enquiries.

Your skills and experience:

• At least 10 years relevant experience in structuring/ sales/ trading Structured Products and Derivatives in global financial institutions with solid market and product knowledge with relevant experience in Equity Derivatives dealing and experience in one more derivative asset category is preferred (i.e. Structured Credits, Funds, Rates Exotics, FX, commodities, etc)

• Bachelor or above Degree holder, preferably in Finance, Economics or related discipline.

• Strong technical skills and critical thinking capabilities required

• Established track record of delivery within large financial services organization, ideally with clients and external stakeholders

• Ability to work with different stakeholders and meet deadlines

• Hands-on experiences in trading systems (ie. Bloomberg EMSX, FINIQ)

• Self-motivated and passionate about the Private Banking business.

• Team player; possess with solid experience in dealing and can work independently to deliver KPI without intensive supervisions required.

• Responsible to ensure all activities are in adherence as per Compliance & Risk.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English

• Bachelor or above Degree holder, preferably in Finance, Economics or related discipline;

• CPWP and CFA holder preferred

• Language proficiencies in Mandarin, Cantonese, English.

• Self-motivated and passionate about Private Banking business.

• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
