You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utility operations location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries, reporting unusual conditions or potential hazards.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
