Job Title: Warehouse Attendant 

Compensation: $18.25 /hr. 

Additional Compensation: $1.50/hr. shift differential 
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Warehouse and Purchasing Supervisor 
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 
Location: Acorn Facility 
Work Arrangement: On-site 
Shift / Schedule: 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) 
Travel Requirements: Regular travel between two plant locations as needed 
Employment Type: Full-time 

Role Overview / Purpose and Scope 

Farmer Focus is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations across two plant locations. This role helps ensure the timely, accurate, and safe handling of materials, employee supplies, shipments, and inventory. The Warehouse Clerk supports operations by maintaining supply levels, transporting materials between facilities, documenting incoming and outgoing goods, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet supply needs in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist with shipping and receiving goods and materials. 

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. 

  • Maintain stock levels in supply rooms at both plant locations. 

  • Transport employee supplies between facilities as needed. 

  • Conduct weekly inventory of plant and employee supplies. 

  • Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials. 

  • Ensure proper documentation and labeling of incoming and outgoing shipments. 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. 

  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill supply needs. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. 

  • Experience operating electric pallet jacks and forklifts. 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between plant locations. 

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation. 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 

  • Preferred experience includes prior warehouse or logistics experience, familiarity with agricultural or food production environments, and experience with inventory management systems. 

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation. 

New team members must be able to pass a drug and alcohol post-offer prior to the start of their employment. Must be authorized to work in the United States. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.  

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel 

Work is performed in warehouse and production-related environments across Farmer Focus plant locations. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and following all safety, sanitation, PPE, and traffic-flow requirements. The position may involve exposure to warehouse noise, varying temperatures, production-floor conditions, and regular movement between facilities to transport employee and plant supplies.
