Description
Location:
Radnor, PA (Airgas HO) - ManagementHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Airgas is elevating the online customer journey by transitioning to a modern, integrated eCommerce ecosystem. We are seeking a Senior eCommerce Operations Analyst to serve as the team’s technical optimizer and efficiency orchestrator. In this role, you are a guardian of system health—ensuring data flows seamlessly between our PIM, DAM, and Commerce platforms. We are looking for a disciplined, self-starting professional who uses an 'efficiency mindset' to transform manual routines into automated, reliable processes. The ideal candidate is an expert at leveraging AI tools to solve technical challenges, document complex workflows, and iterate on internal utilities based on user feedback. You are someone who evaluates business problems through a pragmatic lens, providing technical support for supplier integrations and recommending the most effective paths forward to ensure operational excellence . High personal accountability and professional consistency are essential to ensure the team remains synchronized and responsive.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet the evolving needs of the business.
System Health & Orchestration
Automated Monitoring: Design and implement automated health-check protocols across the core tech stack (Salesforce, Coveo, Viamedici, etc.). Use AI tools to monitor the "handshakes" between platforms, ensuring product data and assets flow seamlessly through our headless architecture.
Consistency Oversight: Shift the team from manual reporting to exception-based monitoring; ensure that system checks are consistent, documented, and yield actionable data.
Efficiency & Problem Synthesis
Option Evaluation: Identify operational friction points and evaluate potential solutions. Present "Option Evaluations" to leadership, comparing the ROI of a process change, a third-party tool "buy," or an AI-assisted internal "build."
User-Led Iteration: Continuously evolve and enhance internal utilities and automation scripts based on direct feedback from the Merchandising team, ensuring tools remain pragmatic, user-friendly, and functionally relevant.
Root Cause Analysis: Analyze ticket patterns to identify systemic "handshake" errors or platform gaps. Translate these findings into clear technical requirements for the Digital Product Management (DPM) team.
AI-Driven Operational Hygiene
SOP Ownership: Own the technical accuracy and organizational standard of the team’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) library.
AI Leverage: Act as the team’s lead "Prompt Engineer," utilizing Generative AI (Google Gemini, NotebookLM) to accelerate the creation of documentation, debug platform logs, and generate efficiency-driving scripts (Python/Apps Script).
Merchandising Enablement & Guidance
Integration Support: Serve as the technical support resource during strategic discussions regarding the "wiring up" of supplier PIM systems to our internal PIM via API connections.
Technical Support: Partner with Merchandising Specialists to remove technical bottlenecks, helping them accelerate "speed to shelf" through optimized data ingestion and tool usage.
Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and "second-level" troubleshooting support to the eCommerce Operations Analyst, ensuring a shared high standard of operational excellence across the team.
