Description
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. The candidate will be working as part of the Fleet team. 10+ years related lab and or field work experience. Technician/mechanic Experience in customer interaction for support, demo and trial. Basic scripting in phyton Good understanding of QXDM, ADB, and/ or other logging and troubleshooting tools is a must. Experience in customer interaction for support, demo and trial. Expertise in wireless and wireline sensors (setup and installation) is Preferred Focus on understanding all the hardware system architecture and sensor integration of our test fleet. Track inventory and project assets. Understanding Linux PC system setup and configuration. IP network setup and management. Perform diagnosis and repair of the vehicle's electrical system, simple mechanical tasks and potential software issues (with guidance) Fabricate and installation and/or modify existing prototype components/fixtures Install sensor, test equipment, and other components in the vehicles in accordance with engineering specifications, standards, and/or test procedures Candidate will provide l ab support across the organization. This includes system h/w commissioning, bring up, networking, cabling, and racking as well as working with other support organizations as needed (IT, Lab org, proto) The candidate will need to be able to drive a car/vehicle. Support and travel for trade shows or weekend testing is expected. Data collection will be part of the duties which includes bring up of and basic trouble shooting of the vehicle stack. Candidate should have some basic general mechanical understanding. Record keeping of performed tasks.
