Lead youth lacrosse practices and activities in a safe, positive, and supportive environment Teach basic skills, rules, and fundamentals appropriate to participants’ ages and abilities Emphasize sportsmanship, teamwork, equal playing time, and fun Communicate practice schedules, expectations, and program information with parents and participants Work with recreation staff to support program operations, equipment care, and scheduling
- Possession of or the ability to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
- Experience working with youth in a sport, recreational, or educational setting
- Knowledge of lacrosse fundamentals, rules, and basic coaching techniques
