Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Foreman II to oversee the installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and experience in the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities:

  •  Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure. 
  •  Manage a team of technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed. 
  •  Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. 
  •  Review project plans and specifications to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. 
  •  Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and project management, to ensure work meets project goals and timelines. 
  •  Develop and maintain safety procedures and protocols for the team. 
  •  Conduct safety meetings and training for team members. 
  •  Monitor and report on project progress and budget to upper management. 
  •  Identify and report any safety hazards or code violations. 
  •  Maintain inventory of equipment and materials, ordering new supplies as needed. 
  •  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Requirements

Requirements:

  •  High school diploma or equivalent. 
  •  7+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry. 
  •  Experience in a leadership or supervisory role. 
  •  Good knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and installation practices. 
  •  Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to telecommunications work. 
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  •  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 
  •  Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  •  Ability to train and mentor team members. 
  •  Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. 
  •  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
