Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Foreman II to oversee the installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and experience in the telecommunications industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure.
- Manage a team of technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
- Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and project management, to ensure work meets project goals and timelines.
- Develop and maintain safety procedures and protocols for the team.
- Conduct safety meetings and training for team members.
- Monitor and report on project progress and budget to upper management.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or code violations.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and materials, ordering new supplies as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Good knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and installation practices.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to telecommunications work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to train and mentor team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
