Hammered Ink Promotions offers, creates, and sells custom branded products. We have in-house capabilities from embroidery to print services! We tailor our offerings to other businesses and organizations looking to advertise in the real world, which includes company apparel and branded goods. Our client base is solid and full of more opportunities, especially as we expand our operations and hire more staff. Our company is currently in the growth stage, with many roads to pave and work your way up! Although we are small, we think big and make moves to get there. We are pleased to be looking for a General Manager to join our growing team! Position Summary            The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. This includes liaising between customers and vendors, purchasing products and apparel, and working with external decorators on customized designs. The General Manager will also ensure a positive customer experience end to end. This position will work alongside the President on business strategy and development. List of Main Responsibilities         PurchasingResearching potential products, vendors, and services and comparing price and quality to ensure the best dealCreating and sending purchase ordersLiaising with vendors to ensure goods are received on timeMonitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stockInspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timelyUpdating all records of purchased productsDeal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goodsDecorationLead the coordination of design efforts with clientsPrepare the details of the job to send art to decorators, communicating and specific details needed for the design (types of apparel, mock-up, placement, location, size of art, etc.)Work with the decorator through any questions or specificationsReview the quality and accuracy of the finished product Customer ServiceBuild relationships with clients through order processWork with clients to design and finalize the productShare any updates/ questions from vendors/ decorators with client during productionProvide update to client about status or productConsistently communicate with the client through the production processSolve customer pain points, ensure products get delivered without damages, and minimize packaging materials/wasteBusiness Strategy/ Development Audit processes & procedures in order to find opportunities for improvement and increased efficienciesOverseeing daily operations of the businessCreating new strategies for growth and putting them into practiceTraining new staff, hiring new employees, managing employee performanceEvaluating overall productivity and performance and implementing strategies for improvementReporting on business and employee performanceList of Key Qualifications               Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)Knowledge of ordering supplies and inventory control of these itemsAdaptable to changing priorities in an entrepreneurial environmentKnowledge of entrepreneurial best practices, small businesses, marketing, data management and strategiesExcellent organization skills and attention to detailExceptional time management skills with the ability to function well in a high-paced work environment and prioritize tasksExcellent oral and written communication skills; must maintain a professional manner and customer service mindsetPositive and engaging individual who is relationship-driven and sets the energy of the teamBasic computer skills including MS Excel, Word and e-mailStrong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others1+ year of leadership experience5+ years work of experience in office administration, management or similar experienceUniform, decoration promotional product experience are considered an asset This position offers a comprehensive performance bonus program in addition to the base salary
