Hair Stylist

We are looking for a Hair Stylist to create flawless hairstyles for our customers. Your responsibilities include cutting hair, consulting customers about styles and colours and applying hair care products, like treatment oils and masks. If you have experience cutting short and long hair and are up-to-date with styling natural kinky and curly hair trends, we’d like to meet you. You will ensure all customers leave TrichoSpa satisfied with our services and feel happy with their new looks. Responsibilities Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questionsConsult and educate clients on their hair and scalp careRecommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastesWash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate cleansers and conditioners Cut and trim hair Apply a wide range of hair colouring techniquesCreate hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and bunsApply hair and scalp treatment products, as needed Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferencesManage bookings and serve walk-insEnsure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as neededCross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriatePerform Routine Spa Functions Requirements Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colourist or similar roleExperience in styling natural kinky and curly hairHands-on experience with various colouring techniquesKnowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths Creativity, proficient in the latest hairstyles and detail-oriented Excellent communication skillsGood team-work ethics and able to build professional relationshipsPhysical stamina to stand for long hoursFlexibility to work in shiftsAble to work in time constraints and pressureValid license from a cosmetology school
