Description
Total Flight Solutions has an open position to be filled immediately for an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic, who is available for full-time employment to join our team of mechanics. You will receive competitive hourly pay. The position is out of Triangle North Executive Airport (LHZ) located in Louisburg, NC.
Duties:
- Aircraft servicing (fuel, oil, cockpits).
- Scheduled maintenance (50 and 100 hr. inspections).
- Oil and filter changes.
- Tire changes, brake servicing.
- Avionics troubleshooting.
- Strong piston background is preferred.
Requirements:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P).
- General Aviation Experience.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and available to work 40 hours a week.
- Knowledge and skill using online maintenance manuals and looking up parts components.
- Complete all work order paperwork related to tasks performed with detailed documentation, in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company practices in a timely fashion.
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and proceed in an efficient and professional manner.
- Handle and resolve technical issues and problems.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule and holidays if required.
- Independently make critical decisions regarding aircraft safety.
- Must be able to perform all maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time.
- Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements.
- Looking for experience with the following types of aircraft:
- Cessna 172's.
- Robinson R22/R44 (training provided for approved candidates).
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) optional.
